Our Partner School is one of the few schools in Costa Rica where it is possible for students to take an examination according to the guidelines of the American Council for the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).
Group clasees
Throughout the year our Partner School offers group classes in all levels. After the placement test, students are incorporated in the group according to his/her knowledge of Spanish. Our Partner School teaches in SMALL GROUPS assuring the PERSONALIZED ATTENTION to each students’ needs.
Individual clasees
These classes are designed for all of those participants who have a limited amount of time and therefore need to attain communication success as soon as possible. The themes of the teaching material, as well as rhythm of learning, are determined by the student.
The exclusive attention of the teacher is the key to success and above-average learning progress.
Course Academic Credits
Students who wish to receive academic credit at our Partner School receive a transcript of the number of class hours completed, subjects covered in class, and the teacher's evaluation of performance. They can present this Certificate to their college or university for credit.
Generally, one semester unit of credit is granted for each 15-20 hours of class time. Thus, a 4-week program of 4 hours of class daily would generate 4-5 semester credits.
The administrator of the student's school must agree to his or her participation in the program. Students need to make all arrangements directly through their university prior to beginning the program in Costa Rica.
