For those students that would prefer more independent housing arrangements while learning to speak spanish, IMAC has obtained some outstanding discounts in several of Guadalajara´s historic downtown nicest hotels. These excellent hotels that we frequently recommend have received a 4 star service rating and are conveniently located within walking distance to the school, here in the historic downtown area of Guadalajara, Mexico.

Hotel Posada San Rafael. This is a very nice small hotel that offers newly renovated rooms. It is located about 2 blocks from our school and is in a safe neighbordhood. You are able to use the kitchen services (for stay longer than 3 weeks only) and free access to internet, WI-FI. No meals included.

El Hotel Cervantes, located 1 block from our Spanish language school. This establishment offers our students a discounted daily rate on single and double occupancy rooms, and features a rooftop swimming pool. Approximately $54.00 U.S. Single or double occupancy. Visa  and mastercard are honored.

Hostelling International. This establishment is affiliated with the very well known "International Youth Hostel Federation".

Offers: Dinning room, 30 beds, hot water showers, full kitchen, cooking utensils, private lockers, internet access, TV, games and books, lounge areas, laundry service, tourist info, tours. This is the only youth hostel in Guadalajara and just in the heart of the city, and it is just 6 blocks away from IMAC. The cost per night is only $120.00 pesos ($12.00 USD aprox.)

Hostal de Maria. This hostel is located in Plaza Colon, or also known as the Nine Corner Plaza for its particular convergence of 4 streets. The Hostel de Maria offers 5 shared rooms (for men and women separately) with bunk beds and lockers. Separate bathrooms for men and women with showers and hot water. 2 private rooms are also available with a queen size bed, bathroom, and satellite television. For guests’ comfort the Hostel de Maria also counts with a terrace with an equipped kitchen, and dining room conditioned ideally for having a conversation with other guests, watching television, or simply gliding the day with a cup of coffee and a good book. Some features that make the Hostel de Maria are refreshments, snacks, and coffee vending machines, computer lounge with internet connection, small library, laundry room, tourist information, and complimentary continental breakfast. Located only 7 blocks away from our institution.

Vila Santa. This establishment includes private and share rooms with private bathroom, television, and ventilation system (air chiller). Equipped kitchen is accessible to guests and supervised by a staff member. Laundry services (machine washing and drying) are included in the cost. Restaurant service is also available.

This Guadalajaran tradition is located only a five minute interesting walk from our Institute and right amidst the hustle and bustle of the Historic Downtown Area. Features include: Restaurant, Bar, Disco, Parking, Travel agency, Gift shop, Satellite T.V. etc. Discounted rates for IMAC students are approximately $50.00 U.S. Single or double occupancy. Visa and mastercard are honored.

Hotel Jorge Alejandro. It is only located 4 blocks away from our institute. This hotel is very clean as well as comfortable. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Most of them know a little English. They have experience hosting foreigners.

The hotel counts with single, double and triple occupancy rooms.
Prices per night:  
- Single room with one double bed $290.00 pesos for one person.
- Double room with two double beds at $370.00 pesos for two persons.
- Triple room with two double beds and one single bed at $450.00 pesos for three persons.
 
Cost per extra person in all rooms at $50.00 pesos per night. 
 
Included services:
- WI FI Internet (ask for password), phone in each room, cost per local call $5.00 pesos, free incoming calls, TV set in each room and lobby. Free parking.
 
For stays longer than 3 days you are entitled to a 10% off.
 
Please note: In order to reserve during the high season (summer) they require a bank transfer of 50 % of the total rate. During any other season you may pay upon arrival.
