Registering for Spanish lessons is very easy. All you have to do is follow these very simple steps.

Our Spanish language programs in Guadalajara are designed to meet the students' schedule. We understand that many people come to study Spanish while on vacation in Mexico, and we are very interested in providing them with the most flexible opportunity for learning the Spanish language. Our intensive Spanish group classes begin every Monday of the year except during National, Christmas and Easter holidays. Private tutoring may begin at any time and you may choose the amount of hours/days, you wish to take. Credits may be earned.

Daily Class Schedule

9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Students are involved in direct Spanish language instruction with a native instructor. All areas of Spanish language fluency are developed: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

11:00 AM to 11:15 AM
Students go to break.

11:15 AM to 1:00 PM
Intensive Spanish classes with your instructor resume.

1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
You will have the opportunity to participate in a language and cultural exchange group, which will allow you to practice your new language skills with native Spanish speaking students in a relaxed, informal setting, therefore adding an additional hour of instruction per day, thus making it 5 hours per day. This class is supervised by an instructor every afternoon, and is free of charge;

In addition to the classroom instruction, you have unlimited access to our Multimedia Lab (email, Internet, interactive Spanish programs) free of charge. You will be encouraged to maximize your learning by attending our Multimedia Lab an additional hour daily, though you may use the Multimedia Lab for as long as you wish during school hours. This is a service which will allow you to reinforce the skill areas of pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing. This brings your number of hours to 30 weekly (25 hours of teacher instruction and a recommended minimum 5 hours of free Multimedia lab time).

Accommodation

Accommodation not included in our course fees. These are the housing options we offer: home-stay program, hostels, posadas (Inns), hotels and apartments. Go to our Accommodations page to see more details and check on prices.

NOTE: Please keep in mind; schools that offer what seems like many class hours per day. A great price may be taking into account all the time when there is a teacher present in an activity which may not always involve language learning. The class hours that we offer, ALL involve formal learning under a structured program with students at your same group level and your official teacher, PLUS the varied activities, where an instructor is also present and our students enjoy at no cost. Want to save money? Check the total prices at your school. Is a daily and structured conversation class free? What about a media lab with the latest and greatest software aids? Does your school provide cultural exchanges and movies free of charge? Some schools do not charge for registration, but in the end, you pay more in higher prices, airport pick up, homestay placement and changing fees, rescheduling fees, etc. Also, is your school accredited and socially responsible?

Rent Your Textbook. Save Money!!

Here are a couple of reasons why renting a book is a great savings idea:

• If you decide not to pursue your Spanish language classes, you could return it.
• You do not have to spend extra money when you advance to the next level by purchasing new books. You may rent the next books out with the same deposit when returning the previous book.
• More importantly, certain schools boast that they do not charge for learning material (books). However, what some of them do is photo copy the book(s) which cheats the author, as well as being copyright infringement. This is illegal and against publisher’s policies. Sign up at IMAC. Now you can save a bundle by simply putting down a deposit of the textbook’s cost, $33.00 USD.

When you return the book- in mint condition- (not written, torn or worn out) you will get back $28.00 USD. This means only a $5.00 USD cost for the use of original materials for as long as your course lasts. If you decide to keep the book, then the deposit will cover the cost of the book.
