Getting to Playa del Carmen is simple, and you can book a direct flight into Cancun International airport. You can also arrive into Cozumel to reach Playa del Carmen, but be aware that the only way of getting to Playa del Carmen from Cozumel is by ferry, and the schedules are limited.
