Community Health

Guadalajara

Work closely with health care providers who provide care for the disenfranchised Mexicans. These could be AIDS patients or those who the bigger community can support such as the blind and disabled. Be given the opportunity to educate the impoverished in the prevention of any number of diseases. This would be a great opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge that less poverty stricken communities have, such as the implementation of education programs to prevent health issues. Be a caring individual who is not afraid of the risks involved in working with diseases. The person in this setting makes the people with health issues feel accepted and wanted by society. One would be able to make others feel capable.Show the unfortunate ones ways to enable themselves to live comfortably and safely. Work side by side with health care providers to implement new ways of advertising for prevention of diseases. Conduct yourself towards others with no judgment and assess future issues for individuals. Uncomfortable issues may be dealt with in a delicate and professional manner. People are looked upon as part of the cure and the ability to work together effectively is of utmost importance. The volunteer may be rewarded daily by the amount of faith and trust the patients show toward him or her. Leave the placement fulfilled in many areas of life.
