NOTE: All of the following information regarding course descriptions is the same for all three locations:
Buenos Aires, Cordoba and Patagonia (Bariloche). Our partner school offers you the possibility to continue your program
in any of the three locations offering the same high quality methods, materials and teachers.
Method of the program:
Direct, active learning using language structures, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions in the context of areas most
useful for attaining fluency as quickly as possible.
Materials:
Three books developed by their own Pedagogical Department, Cassette Latin-American Spanish, Exercises for Intensive
Spanish Course, Intermediate Spanish, Talking Business in Spanish, a selection of material from the media (videos,
newspapers, etc.), and Latin American novels and short stories.
Levels:
Elementary level: 40 classes
For students considered beginners (without previous knowledge) or students who in the placement evaluation show
some initial knowledge of the language.
Intermediate level 1: 40 classes
For students who have mastered the elementary level of Spanish according to the placement evaluation.
Intermediate level 2: 40 classes
For students who have mastered the first intermediate level of Spanish according to the placement evaluation.
Intermediate level 3: 40 classes
For students who have mastered the second intermediate level of Spanish according to the placement evaluation.
Advanced level 1: 80 classes
For students who do not make mistakes in either the use of manners and verbal tenses, or in the syntactic
construction of the phrases. Besides the correct grammatical forms, a student of this level should be able to
produce oral and writing texts adapted to the communicative situation and to understand native speakers no matter
which regional variety of Spanish they speak.
Advanced level 2: 80 classes
For students who have reached a proficient level of oral and written production of the Spanish language and
are able to read and to analyze complex fictional and non-fictional texts. This level is for students interested
in completing their studies of the Spanish language and reaching a high level of knowledge on Argentinean history and
literature.
*All students must sit for a written and oral placement test upon arrival.
Spanish programs:
Program A: Group classes (55 minutes per class, 6 students x class max.) 20 hours per week.
Program B: Private classes (45 minutes per class.) 10 to 40 classes per week. You choose
class frequency.
Program C: Intensive - 20 group classes, plus 10 private classes (see options below) per week.
All intermediate and advanced classes include workshops on Argentinean history, culture and politics.
We can offer General Spanish private classes or you may take private classes on any of the following
Spanish for Specific Purposes:
- Spanish at Work
- Spanish for Health Sciences
- Spanish for Environmental Science
*If you take more than 5 weeks of Program C you may choose up to two
different Special for Specific Purposes courses.
Program Tango: Five Tango classes per week at the best Tango academy in town. This option can be added
to any program in Buenos Aires and Cordoba
Note 1: At the Cordoba and Patagonia (Bariloche) locations, classes are 60 minutes long.
Note 2: At the Patagonia (Bariloche) location the minimum stay for Programs A and C is two weeks.

Medical Spanish is geared towards advanced students of Medicine or doctors with previous knowledge of the
Spanish Language who have reached at least an Intermediate level.

Commencement days of courses:
Any day, year-round. Report to the school upon arrival in order to evaluate your level of Spanish and receive
materials. Because each school has on-going classes from all levels year-round, you will be placed in a suitable
class upon arrival. Teachers:
All instructors hold a Masters degree in Education or Literature. Each is fully experienced in teaching the Spanish
language.
