Homestay Program
One of the advantages of living with a host family is that the Spanish language is the center of the friendship
between the student and the family.
All our host families are selected with great care to assure a comfortable
and pleasant homestay. They are located in the same suburb of San Jose where our school has its site, therefore they
can be reached by walking or taking one bus.
The host families are patient and extend themselves to help our
students to learn Spanish. With the families our participants are totally immersed in the Costa Rican culture and have
the opportunity of practicing Spanish daily.
The family provides participants with breakfast, dinner or lunch, as well as, laundry service. Participants have a room of
their own.
If you will be travelling with a companion and wishes to accommodate with the same host family, this can certainly
be possible. The cost of the homestay program per additional person is $15 USD per day. This cost will also include
2 meals per day and laundry service.
The homestay program begins one day before commencing classes (Sunday)
and ends one day after concluding the course (Saturday). Extra days spent at your host home have a cost of $15 USD.
Hotel Accommodation
If you would prefer a different type of accommodation, our Partner School has several hotels near the school area.
