Our Partner School offers Spanish courses for students of all levels, from beginners to proficient. To determine
your level of Spanish you will be administered a placement evaluation before commencing classes on your first day.
Our Ecuador Partner School offers Spanish programs in small groups no larger than 6 students, and under individual
lessons. Depending on what your purpose is for learning Spanish is how we recommend you to select the type of program.
Individual Classes
Offered one-on-one, or semi-private (2 students with one instructor), this type of program is an excellent way
to acquire Spanish fluency in a short period of time. Classes start at 4 hours per day and up to 8 hours per
day, every Monday of the month from 8:30 AM and until 5 PM, depending on the number of hours of your preference.
As your skills are evaluated prior to begin your classes, under private instruction you will work along with the
teacher to design your study plan according to your linguistic needs and interests. At least once per week your
teacher will place you in a real situation where you will practice your Spanish skills, such as at a park, market,
museum, etc.
Individual lessons can also enable you to learn Spanish for specific purposes. If you are a professional and seek to
improve your linguistic skills to provide a better service to your clients, patients, or customers, this is the right
course for you!
Under private instruction after a 4 to 6 week Spanish program your speaking skills are guaranteed for success!
Group Classes
Group classes are best to be booked if your level is beginner, and if you plan to study in 4 hour per day sessions
for at least 4 weeks. Group lessons are available only at certain times, so please check for availability.
To complement the skills learned in class, students are given the opportunity to practice their Spanish and learn
about the country through afternoon workshops where different topics are presented: History, Literature, National
Parks, idiomatic expressions, Shamanism; economy and politics, biographies of famous authors and artists, among
others. These workshops take place in a forum where students can ask questions and express their point of view.
Our Partner School is an authorized centre by the Ministry of Education in Ecuador, and in addition to a
certificate of participation which you will receive at the end of your course; you can request an official
certificate by Ecuador’s Education and Culture Ministry upon successful completion (an evaluation is required)
of an 8 week program or longer.
