Where is the school located?

It is located right in the center, in the “barrio Pastita”, only 10 minutes walking distance from Teatro Juárez and all the historical center main attractions, and a couple of blocks from Jardín Embajadoras, known for its big market on Saturdays and Sundays

How long are your programs and when can I start?

Our minimum in a group program is 1 week. All of the programs start every Monday year round, except if a holiday falls on a Monday, in which case the first day of classes will be held on Tuesday.

What Spanish programs does the school offer?

We offer Regular Group Programs (of 15, 20 or 25 hours/week), Individual Programs and Specialized Programs, such as DELE Exam Preparation course, Executive Programs, Professional Programs (Business or Medical services), among others.

What is the average age range of students who usually attend the courses?

The average age range of the students is 20 - 30 years old.

What are the class schedules?

Group classes are held in the morning, from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm. On the other hand, Individual and Specialized Programs are held in the afternoon, from 01:00 pm to 05:20 pm.

Our time table is:
9am to 10:20am Spanish courses
10:20am to 10:30am Short break
10:30am to 11:40am Spanish courses
11:40am to 12:10pm Lunch break
12:10pm to 1pm Conversation/Reading/Lectures
1pm to 1:10pm break
1:10pm to 2pm Conversation/Reading/Lectures
2:30pm to 5:20pm Individual lessons with 10 minutes break in between

How many levels of Spanish do you offer, and how large are your classes?

We offer 7 levels of Spanish starting from complete beginner. The group classes have a maximum of 6 students per class (sometimes even less), so you will have lots of opportunity to practice.

What are your options for accommodation and what does each option include?

HOST FAMILY
Bedroom: Single or double (double for students traveling together only).
Meals: Only Breakfast or Half board (2 meals, includes breakfast and a large meal of the day).
Distance from the school: Some families live within two blocks of the school while others are as far as 25 minutes walking (3 to 10 minutes by bus).
Keys: Yes.
Laundry/ cleaning: Fresh linens, towels and room cleaning at least once a week.

SHARED STUDENT FLAT
Bedrooms: 2 single and 1 queen size.
Meals: not included.
Distance from the school: 15 minutes walking distance.
Included: blankets and bed linen, living room with TV, Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, shared bathroom, a washing machine and an iron.
Cleaning: Once a week only in common areas.

How long is accommodation arranged for?

For as long as your program last, there is no limit.

Is Guanajuato a safe place?

Despite the negative media coverage of problems in Mexico, you should know that it is very safe to travel to Guanajuato. The problems you hear about in the news are occurring very far away from where our schools are located and have not affected us at all.

We always recommend you take the same precautions you would when visiting any foreign city, but know that you can relax and enjoy your stay in Mexico. You do not want to miss out on studying Spanish and learning about the Mexican culture in these beautiful destinations, and we are sure you will have a wonderful experience in Mexico.
