Schools offer deep insight into the Spanish way of life.

The school in Granada organizes activities to allow you to obtain deep insight into the Spanish way of life and give you a chance to get to know the town of Granada and the surrounding countryside. Activities may include:

  • Parties and meals with an Andalusian/Spanish flavour.
  • Guided visits to the Alhambra and Generalife, the Cathedral, the Cartuja, the Royal Chapel, the Sacromonte Abbey and the Albayzín.
  • Tapas-bar and Flamenco evenings.
  • Conferences and chats on literature, history and art.
  • Visits to the market or cinema outings to Spanish or Latin American films accompanied by a teacher in small groups.
  • Mountain-biking, swimming, tennis, horseback riding and skiing.

Spanish during the week; fun on the weekend.

Trips are organized for the weekends to local points of interest including Sevilla, Córdoba, Málaga, the Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada, the caves of Guadix or the beaches of Granada Costa Tropical.

Bicycles and cars hired in Granada are ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside or making a trip around Andalusia. Students also enjoy Sevillanas and Flamenco dance classes.

Please note that entrance fees and trips are not included in the Spanish course fees.

Denia (Coast)

For those who wish to get to know Costa Blanca and its people, we offer a varied culture and leisure programme in Spain, including:

  • Parties, meals, sports and filmshows.
  • Lectures and chats on current affairs and historical issues.
  • Guided visits to the Castle and the Archaeological Museum in Denia.
  • Outings to the Cave del Agua and Tallada
  • Excursions to Valencia´s old town, Alicante, the timeless Altea alleyways, the Arabic village of Guadalest and the town of Xátiva.

Ibiza is two hours by ship from Denia; there are special offers for a "one-night party in Ibiza."

Bicycles or cars hired in Denia are ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside. An especially memorable trip is the historic slow train which runs along the coast connecting Denia and Alicante. Remember that Denia has nearly 20 km. of beach along Costa Blanca, so many watersports can be enjoyed here.

Please note that entrance fees and trips are not included in the Spanish course fees. Further information regarding local events and festivities in Costa Blanca is available from the school.

Flamenco Dance Course
Levels Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
Hours Two hours daily, from Monday to Thursday. Eight hours a week. One hour equals 45 minutes. Class is held in the evenings.
N° attendants From one to six
Beginning Every Monday
Price One to three students: 120 € / week
Four to six students: 80 € / week
Flamenco Guitar Course
Levels Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced
Hours Any number of hours. One hour equals 45 minutes.
